Press: Sexism in Politics | Teen Vogue

Maggie Feldman-Piltch was featured in a recent article by Teen Vogue titled 'Sexism in Politics: 10 Women Share Their Stories."

The article in the November issue was published on the Teen Vogue website on October 18, 2016 and includes conversations with ten women across the United States working in policy and politics.

Feldman-Piltch discusses her experience as a woman in a male-dominated field and highlights the impact of allies on her experience, and her work on the WiSelist

Thankfully, Maggie has a great network of diverse mentors who give her unrelenting support. “Most women in D.C. don't have this, and it honestly keeps me up at night,” Maggie said. “In an attempt to make some small dent, I've started a relatively informal network called the WiSelist (Women in Security) for women in foreign policy, security, and geopolitics to share information on jobs, fellowships, events, etc. It's my hope that this free network will help to fill the gaps around access to informal networks and support between men and women.”
